John Stomberg, the inaugural Virginia Rice Kelsey 1961s Director of the Hood Museum of Art, plans to retire in June, concluding a 10-year tenure in which he oversaw a $50 million renovation and expansion of the museum and dramatically amplified its impact on campus.
