SOLOMONS, Md. – Longtime fossil shell collector Barry Norbeck donated thousands of shells and other invertebrate fossils to the Calvert Marine Museum (CMM). This is the largest and most important local fossil shell collection ever received by the museum. The collection is especially valuable scientifically for several reasons.
