The Stanley Museum’s new exhibit tells the story of oil through tapestry

In the Stanley Museum’s newest exhibit, „The Black Gold Tapestry,” a story unfolds on an almost 220-foot-long, hand-embroidered, linen tapestry. Created by Canadian artist Sandra Sawatzky, the tapestry traces the history of oil, from the prehistoric age to current times, also referred to as „black gold.”
