Dr. Alford Farnham, a local doctor and surgeon, built the hospital on Main Street in 1915. The main floor consisted of a reception room, doctor’s office and exam rooms. The second floor had an operating room, kitchen and patient rooms. The hospital was open to other doctors in the area as well.
