Topeka Combat Air Museum unveils display honoring Kansas Doolittle Raider ahead of 50th anniversary

Topeka’s Combat Air Museum is dedicating a new display to Sgt. Harold Spatz of Lebo, a flight engineer and gunner on the 1942 Doolittle Raid who was later captured and executed by Japanese forces. The dedication is set for 10 a.m. tomorrow, with the museum’s 50th anniversary celebration planned for April 25.
