Lynda Roscoe Hartigan named director of the Smithsonian American Art Museum

Lynda Roscoe Hartigan, currently executive director and CEO of the Peabody Essex Museum, has been named Director of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. She will take over from Jane Carpenter-Rock on 8 September.
