Railroad museum will close, but parts of it will live on
PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) – The not-for-profit South Dakota State Railroad Museum in Hill City is set to shut down this fall. It’s not the end, however. Plans call for many pieces from its collection to continue to be displayed at other sites. That’s according to Lesta Turchen, the museum board’s president.
