NIU Today – Head’s up! Upcoming Art Museum exhibition extends to campus
A stroll around campus can serve as a preview of a new exhibition coming soon to the galleries of the NIU Art Museum. The Olmec Heads Experience is a traveling exhibition of twenty-five monumental, artist-designed sculptures inspired by the colossal stone „heads” created by the Olmec civilization of Mesoamerica from 1200 BC to 400 AD.
